As you already know, the story began in Ivankiv, a small town 100 km from Kyiv; and its local history museum that kept a collection of works by Maria Prymachenko. When the town was occupied by the Russian Army and the museum was destroyed, Prymachenko's beasts fled all over the world. First, they came to Kyiv — to populate Ohmatdyt Children's Hospital and the city's streets. Then they went abroad, as far as anyone could have imagined.
They visited beautiful Georgia — the sunny Batumi and snowy Gudauri. It turned out to be hard to find a printer in Gudauri, so kids just colored the paper beast with crayons.Then, the Space Horse traveled further and was spotted in Rome's neighbourhood, on the streets of St. Jacobs, Canada and even San Diego, California, US.
But what no one would expect is The Space Horse to end up in NASA! Truth be told, it was Vasyl Kundryk who helped the Horse to come to Huntsville, Alabama — he's even organized the small exhibition of the project there — this is what we call real cultural activism!
